DUBAI – Indian opener Abhishek Sharma has reclaimed the top spot in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings after delivering a magnificent century against New Zealand in the third match of the series. His performance pushed him to 897 rating points, replacing teammate Ishan Kishan at the summit. Kishan slid down two places to third after missing consecutive games due to an injury, allowing Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan to climb to the second position. India continues to maintain a strong presence in the top tier with four batters ranked inside the world’s top ten.

The latest update highlights a stark contrast in India’s bowling and all-rounder standings, as no Indian featured in the top ten of either category. Axar Patel slipped one position to 11th, while Arshdeep Singh and the rested Jasprit Bumrah occupy 15th and 27th places, respectively. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan retains his position as the world’s leading T20I bowler. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya remains India’s highest-ranked all-rounder in 13th place with 184 rating points despite being out with an injury, as Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza continues to lead the global all-rounder charts.
