This Happiness Class Changed Everything! Students Open Up About Mental Health & Growth

Rajasthan news: A special session on Happiness and Mental Health was organized today at Government Upper Primary School, Manohariyawla, Sanganer, Jaipur by the Center for Community Resilience and Advocacy Foundation (CCRAF). The objective of the session was to help students understand the relationship between happiness, positive thinking, emotional balance, and improved academic performance.

Well-known social worker and respected community figure Mr. Sunderlal Sharma attended the event as the Chief Guest. He shared practical insights on staying positive, avoiding stress, and maintaining a(Rajasthan news) happy mindset, stating that “A happy mind is the first step towards success.”

The session was led by CCRAF Director Dr. Ganesh Narayan Choudhary, Chief Advisor Deepak Ameta, and Program Coordinator Mrs. Anamika Chakraborty. They explained that when children are mentally healthy, balanced, and happy, their academic achievement, concentration, creativity, and overall personality development naturally improve.

The school’s Headmistress Mrs. Indira Kashyap and other teachers also guided the students on happiness, self-control, and essential life skills.

Students actively participated in the session, expressing their feelings through Smiley Activities and the Expression Platform. Many shared that they felt calmer and happier after the activities. They also suggested that such sessions should be conducted regularly and requested that the school organize them at least once a week.

The program concluded with the school staff and the CCRAF team thanking the students for their enthusiastic participation and positive response.
