Narendra Modi global ranking: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity has once again made its presence felt on the world stage. In the latest global survey by Morning Consult , a renowned US data analytics firm , PM Modi has emerged as the world’s most popular democratic leader with a 68 percent approval rating. The survey is based on data collected between March 2 and 8, 2026, and includes a seven-day moving average of adult opinions from various countries. This latest report (Narendra Modi global ranking) not only underscores Modi’s domestic political clout but also shows that his international acceptance and influence are steadily strengthening.

According to the report, Prime Minister Modi has not only maintained a strong hold on domestic politics, but his international acceptance has also steadily increased. This is why he once again topped this global list. Swiss President Guy Parmelin and South Korean President Lee Jae-myung tied for second place with 62 percent approval ratings. Among other major leaders, US President Donald Trump received a 39 percent approval rating, far behind PM Modi. Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer received 24 percent support. French President Emmanuel Macron ranked at the bottom of the list with only 17 percent approval, while 75 percent disapproval was recorded against him.

The survey also shows that Prime Minister Modi’s net approval rating remains strong. The percentage of people who disagreed with him was 26, which is lower than that of many other global leaders. This clearly indicates that Modi’s public approval remains firmly established. Previously, in a Morning Consult report released in July 2025, PM Modi was ranked the most popular democratic leader with a 75 percent approval rating. Prime Minister Modi’s tenure is also setting records in terms of political achievements. On July 25, 2025, he surpassed Indira Gandhi in terms of consecutive terms, becoming India’s second-longest uninterrupted Prime Minister. Now, only Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is ahead of him in this list  .
