WASHINGTON – A sweeping congressional report released by House Judiciary Committee Democrats has brought renewed scrutiny to Donald Trump, featuring a detailed allegation from former Swiss model Beatrice Keul accusing the U.S. president of raping her at a Manhattan hotel in 1993.
The document, which centers on ties between prominent figures and the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, incorporates statements from eleven women. According to the committee’s findings, Keul alleged that the assault occurred inside New York’s Plaza Hotel during the American Dream Pageant, an event that maintained a partnership with Trump. Keul stated that she was led to a room under the premise of a standard meeting before being attacked, leaving her injured and bleeding. The report notes that following the alleged encounter, Trump pressured her to remain silent while offering assistance with travel documents and university admission through associates.
The White House has strongly denied the accusations, calling the congressional document a politically motivated distraction orchestrated by Democrats ahead of upcoming electoral milestones. Representatives for the administration maintained that Trump has previously been cleared of any connection to Epstein’s criminal network.
Alongside Keul’s account, the congressional staff report reviews several historical allegations against Trump involving modeling networks and the 1990s social circle shared with Epstein. These include previously documented claims from individuals such as Stacey Williams and Jill Harth, as well as FBI interview summaries involving anonymous accusers who alleged encounters during their youth. In response to the publication, senior Democratic lawmakers have urged the Department of Justice to appoint an independent special counsel to examine the scope of Epstein’s associates and investigate how related investigative files have been handled.
